Super Cookie™ Chip Cookies

The ultimate cookie recipe for sunny days ahead. Soft centres, crisp edges and filled with pools of creamy 48% Cacao Super Cookie Chips. Quick to make and even quicker to disappear, these are the perfect picnic treat to  share with friends. 

 

Ingredients

 

•    1 cup + 2 tbsp/174g Unsifted all-purpose flour
•    1/2 tsp Baking soda
•    1/2 tsp Salt
•    1/2 cup/113gbutter, softened
•    6 tbsp Ggranulated sugar
•    6 tbsp Firmly packed brown sugar
•    1 Large egg
•    1/2 tsp Vanilla
•    1 ⅔ cups/283g Guittard Super Cookie Chips
•    1/2 cup/60g Chopped walnuts (optional)

 

Method


1) Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line baking sheets with parchment.

2) In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

3) In a large bowl cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light. Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in chips and walnuts.

4) Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
